I recently had to reinstall windows xp professional. After doing so WMP 10
works fine on its own, but if I visit a web page that has WMP embedded in it
to watch streaming videos ot won't load. All I see are the action buttons at
the top of the screen where the player should be, it looks partially loaded.
This happens in both firefox and explorer. I am completely up to date with
windows update, I am afrais I may have changed a setting somewhere, I just
don'y know where. Any help would be great

Thats the way WMPlayers are set up @ some web sites, its set that way by
that site which limits what WMP and you can do with whats playing.Call it
security to copyright materials or along those lines,w/o the interface all
one
can do as you explain is play, stop, rewind, etc,if the interface existed one
could
save the files to computer.

It worked fine before on the same web sites, yahoo.com, also I can see the
play button, stop, etc, but they won't do anything. What setting should I
check. I have already reinstalled WMP 10, but no luck.
