Using hdmi my graphics card will only go as high as 1920x1080 res. but my tv supports 1920x1200(Hannspree SJ28DMBB).I think that it maybe because my card thinks it is a standard 16:9 tv when it is actually 16:10.Is there a way to change something so that I can use 1920x1200, I've tried all the settings on the amd control center and goggled for the answer but to no avail.
Any ideas?

Hi I have the same TV and have successfully changed the monitor ini to change the resolution to 1920 x 1200 @ 50hz.

I now have a perfect PC picture.

Download this free tool - http://www.entechtaiwan.com/util/moninfo.shtm

This allows you to edit the EDID info.

Also go to - http://www.arachnoid.com/modelines/ this allows you to create a useable Modeline.

Use the MonInfo program to edit the EDID modeline data, then save the inf. file created.

You can now use PCs Device Manager to locate and install the modified ini file.

Here is my modified ini file, should you need it:

# 1920x1200 @ 50.00 Hz (GTF) hsync: 61.75 kHz; pclk: 158.08 MHz
Modeline "1920x1200_50.00" 158.08 1920 2032 2240 2560 1200 1201 1204 1235 -HSync +Vsync

Hope this helps.
