i got

-a home made knife from my grandmother (shes on her way out, and is giving away all her stuff) (man it is so nasty and mean HA HA, made out of a sectiuon of antler or horn or somthing with a big fat blade on it)
-an inflatable matress from my mum (theromrest style, the tramping ones)
-biking jacket, flurescent so i don't get run over on my bike
-squeezey horn for my bike from my brother (you know those annoying ones that clowns use HA HA)
-nothing from either of my sisters (i am so disowning them)
-$70 from my grandparents.

What the fuh....how old are you. Have I been arguing with a kid with no experience in life but what he reads!???

i am 20

-and if you must know the bike jacket cost $100 and is a high quality item (i bike 25Km a day to university and back, so having a jacket like that is rather helpfull)
-the squeeky horn was a joke gift, but is so damn loud i might stick it on my bike anyway for a laugh
-the knife is damn dangerous and would surely infect anyone cut by it with nasty diseases.
-the air matress is a light weight but ultra comfortable tramping (hiking for americans who cannot handle the word tramping) product which you would use when sleeping on the bare ground or in a tent.

BTW whats your experience with people from other countries? have you ever travelled internationally? lived with people from around the world and experienced more than one side of the argument?

age is not a determining factor of experience, nor of maturity.

Dog Day Afternoon, now there's a film! Hugely underrated, but damn fine I thought.

As for Heat... focking awesome, that one.

Like you say, there are very few films he's done that I don't like. Stick him in any film, and he's utterly compelling, no matter the role. Very few actors can do that.

Would he be interested in adopting a 31 year old Redneck from Mississippi?

Do you have a preference. The reason that I ask is because your going to be limited somewhat with the 9mm. There great guns, and produce very little recoil. The tradeoff is of course being limited to a fairly light load. I have owned a couple of 9mm's but prefer something with a little more punch. What brand are you looking at?

Reply to mozzartusm

It most certainly would not. Go Canon and have to get all new lenses? No way, bitch.

Hey, don't be trying to bogart in on my oldest-son status, JimBob.

Looking at both 9s and 40s, gotta do some more shopping this week. If it was just for me, sure, I'd go for one of the bigger boys, but I want the boss to be able to handle it fine, too. And if I've got a problem that a clip of either of those cals won't take care of, I've got a bigger problem than a pistol can solve, anyway.

"That was just instinct. Kind of like running from the cops." -- Marquis Weeks, TB, U. of Virginia

Reply to Auburn9698

Based on that, I would think that the 9 is the best choice. The 9mm will be easier for the boss to handle "Im not saying that the 40 would be to much" and the ammo is alot cheaper. At least it was back when I owned the two myself. As for the knockdown power, the 9mm will certainly do the job. Ive owned a couple of Glocks and was pleased with both, but the 40's at the time were really expensive to use for target practice.

On to a more important question. When does Auburn play?

Reply to mozzartusm

Yep, Glock's on the list. SW, Browning, etc. The usual suspects. But yeah, this is a purchase for the both of us, not just a macho purchase. I mean, the stainless Desert Eagle I saw yesterday was "nice and purty," but come on. I'm not spending 1200 bucks, either.

We're playing Jan 3, 8:00 Eastern. Kickin' those Hokies' asses, hopefully.

Lots of makers' guns can run that much and more, obviously. Saw several of em yesterday, like the 17 and 19, for between $400 and $500 at one store. But hey, I'm flattered you guys are so concerned for me. Hahaha

The Desert Eagle is purty no doubt, but have you ever picked one up. They weigh a friggin ton! They should include a couple of cycles of steroids in the deal. If you decide on a Glock I can probably get you a couple of the older clips that held more rounds. No big deal, but they arent easy to find anymore.

On Monday USA TODAY had Auburn up by 6 1/2. Im looking for them to win it by a couple of TD's.

Reply to mozzartusm

Yeah, a friend of mine has one (dude has an armory) and I've checked that bitch out. Those seem like overkill.

Reply to Auburn9698

Try a Sig Sauer, probably the P226 or P229. Can get 'em both in 9 milly, 10 rounds. Awesome firearm, without the bitch kickback. If the boss wants to use it to, then they both come in Compact format. Probably better because of it's size. Used 'em when I was in the army, far better than the Browning, and a lot less prone to jamming (from my experience).

Just a thought.

He actually traded it to another guy for a .480, then saw it in a gun shop near work a month later (recognized the two mags with it), and bought it back. Then fussed at his friend for selling it. Said if a friend wasn't going to have that gun, he didn't want anybody having it. LMAO
