Hi guys,

I'd appreciate somer pointers; I've filled out the form:

1_What is your budget?
£1000

2_What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
14" - 17"

3_What screen resolution do you want?
High Res - 1080P would be nice, deff want more than 1366x768, 1280x800

4_Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Desktop replacement

5_How much battery life do you need?
Will run off mains most/all the time

6_Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?
L4D Medium, Eve online, COD MW 1+2

7_What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo / Video editing,watching movies, Etc.)
General, nothing too taxing

8_How much storage (H.D.D Capacity) do you need?
320GB min

9_If you are considering specific sites to buy from, please post the links to them.
Nope, don't even have a specifica manufacturer in mind

10_How long do you want to keep your laptop?
2 years

11_What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
DVD writer minimum, BD-Rom would be nice

I advise you to either get it from John Lewis, because it comes with 2 years warranty and they have excellent service or buy directly from sony and extend the warranty.
