Best backlit keyboard- alienware?

hi everyone, im looking at buying a backlit keyboard for mostly normal use but a little gaming. Im looking at the alienware tactx keyboard, which has 20 different colors to choose from. But im really open to any suggestions, except for any of the logitech ones, i don't want a huge keyboard that stands out like the g11 etc. $100 is my max budget.

the g15, g110,g11,razer lycossa, and alienware are pretty much the same size. The g110 can have whatever color you want. You can customize the backlighting color.

The Logitech keyboards aren't ridiculously huge - they're about the normal size. I like my G15 a lot, although any of the keyboards chef mentioned should be pretty good.

You may also want to check out Saitek Eclipse series of keyboards. They are pretty decent and the new Saitek Eclipse III keyboard can be pretty handy if you use headphones.

i hear the tactx is made of not great materials and feels cheap and nasty. i would stay away and head toward one one the logitechs chef mentioned

Except for one thing, everything else about my G15 Logitech Keyboard has been great!
That one thing is the backlighting.. it is not very good at all unless you are sitting right over the keys.
I am currently looking to replace it in preparation for Star Citizen space sim
