Matshita dvd-ram uj-850s NOT working

sir i have hp presario v3000 laptop,i had been problem with cd/dvd writing it failed always during writing disc some times it works but failed ratio is very more than successful plz help.............

First of all, Matshita? It's the first time that I hear about this manufacturer.

Is it's driver updated? perhaps it is updated, and you should roll back the update.

Is it recognized by your device manager?
