Generic web cam installation

I have a generic web cam and it had no name and no numbers. The only thing i cand find is S/N: P412002872, and i searched that on google and nothing comes up. I want to install it to my laptop, but it doesnt recognize it and i do not have a cd to install it either. Is there any other way?

Connect it to your computer (You probably have a USB connection) and go to the "Device Manager" there open up the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" section and you suppose to see your camera there, after you find it, install the driver (there is built in option)
