My hp 9800 does not print. The right hand LED glows continually, but I have replaced the black and colored injets with original hp ink casetettes. I have turn the printer and the computer off several times and I have gone thru the troubleshootinng checklist and feel that the problem is mechanical not software.

check the installed cartridges, clean the printer head.

If what you are saying is true, that the problem is not software, so there is a lot of technical problems that can appear.

Have you taken the plastic stripes out of the cartridges before installing them in the printer?

If nothing works after attempting so many times, you should pay to an authorized printer technician, so you won't ruin the printer even more.

call expert to solve this problem, half knowledge of it gonna be costlier.
