How can I make old games work on new computers?

Hello,
i have a few older computer games that i want to play but i cant figgure out how to get them to work on my desktop it is an acer with windows 7 but it only has 62-bit and 16-bit when i need 64-bit can anyone help?

Wait a minute, you need 64-bit to play older games? If your computer has 32-bit with 16-bit compatibility mode (which is what 32-bit has) then why are you looking to get 64-bit in order to play older games? I'm confused.

because that is the only way my computer will let me play my older computergames like toonstruck
