Excel printing problems Hp laptop to Hp printers

I have recently purchased two new HP printers HP Photosmart C4680 and HP Deskjet F4480. I have two HP laptops. No combination of printer and laptop gets a full print of an Excel worksheet. All I get is about a two inch print down the left side of the paper. Each laptop to each printer gets the same result. I can however print a complete worksheet to an old HP deskjet 960c with no problem. I can print from a Dell desktop computer to either new HP printer with no problem. Excel is the only application with which I have a problem. I use Excel a great deal in my at home business and in a mess! I am very inexperienced with such issues and don't know what to do. That is exactly my problem also. would love to see if anyone has an answer.
