More about which camera
  1. This topic has been moved from the section Opinions and Experiences to section Digital Cameras by Pyree
  2. Olympus pen e-pl1
  3. I think you can choose cameras from canon, sony and samsung.
  4. I think Canon Powershot SX 220 HS/230 HS will be a good choice.
  5. Canon s100 is flawless. It is a little more expensive than the mentioned price but the quality is great.
  6. I want to add some more information. Yesterday a friend of mine bought Nikon Coolpix S3100. The lovely fact is that you don't need to remove the battery to recharge

    Good info!

The Nikon DSLRs (expensive) give you the option of re-charging within the camera or outside in a quick charger accessory.
  8. DSLRs are expensive. I don't think you can get one (body and lens) for $300. But yeah you can get Olympus E-PL1.
  9. Olympus E-PL1 is worth buying.. Good camera. As good as many mid range DSLRs.
  10. Before you make the plunge, read some reviews and take suggestions from the forum. Don't aim too low when choosing a camera. I've never heard anyone complaining that the camera they bought is too good.

Don't rule out used and refurbished cameras from dealers and manufacturers.
