HP Mini 311?

Is the HP mini 311 a good choice in a netbook as far as light to medium gaming and general use is concerned? I plan to get a laptop before I go into college so this would just be to take to classes possibly, but for now it would be for gaming, writing and also browsing. This netbook has the ion or ion le.(with a driver hack the le can turn into the normal version). Also, would it be better to keep xp or change to 7? for gaming? for normal usage?

What sort of gaming? If it for say, online games, you should be fine. Otherwise than that, I wouldn't expect to pull off much in that area.

I've looked into it and I think it will handle everything that I need. Does everything else sound about right? What's your opinion of Windows 7 on a netbook?
