Interest in another run of WPC NO-POP boards??

Due to a couple of requests, I'm considering doing another run of the WPC
NO-POP boards I sold last year (details in this thread:
http://tinyurl.com/cnd2z), but I'm not sure if there's enough interest in
them to make another 100 (fixed cost of the boards make smaller quantities
not practical).

So I'm looking for a show of hands from anyone who thinks they'd likely buy
any so I can make a decision as to whether or not to make them. If I make
them, the price is going to go up to $39.95 plus $4.50 shipping (free
shipping on 3 or more).

Thanks,

Herb Schanke

Don't hesitate on this one folks. Plug & play, and it works like a charm!

I'd probably get one for my NF......just not immediately. I have more
pressing financial issues to handle first. But, once that's taken care
of, I could be counted in. If I remeber right, they were like $30?

Herb,

I bought several when you closed out the first group and it was not
enough. I need two more.

I don't get it... you guys don't mind that loud ass scary knocker, but
the pop bothers you?

Why is that sound so annoying/untolerable for you? I really would like
to know!

Is it because Koz put so many high scores on your games that you never
hear a knocker anymore?

Me either. I also don't know why there is a market for yellow stencils
on the back of the head, either.

Each his own

Thanks Herb, I could use 3 of them. BTW, does IJ suffer the same
problem? It makes quite an annoying high pitch noise on power on and
off but it's a "different" sound than the other WPC games makes. Or is
it a different design flaw?

When you find out the answer to that question, LMK as I have no idea
either??? Haven't blown a speaker yet or heard of anyone who has.

I just don't know why we need circuit boards to quench the "pop" when
turning off a WPC game.

I love knockers!!!! And that loud "whack" thing when you get a good score
is not too bad either! ;-)

The "pop" is also thought to be the leading cause of male erectile
dysfunction. There's a strong correlation between the rise in home
pinball
ownership and the recent increase in commercials on TV for Viagra,
Cialis,
etc.

OK, I can testify this satement is wrong because "my ex", (and we all
know women know everything there is to know), made a comment about me
and new pinball games. She told her sister there was only two
occasions that I get an erection and pinball was the other! Another
observation she made was the height of the coin return slot. I wonder
why?

So, when you go to expo don't look at the guys below the waist while
they're playing!

Does the knocker scare you? You can disconnect it.

Some games have louder speaker pop than others. As far as caring about the
condition of your machine, listening to a very high-volume pop coming out of the
speakers on power up/power down can be quite nerve-wracking. It's anybody's
guess whether or not it's actually damaging the speakers, but considering that I
normally keep my games turned up VERY loud - and the pop (which is loud
regardless of volume setting) is obnoxiously loud on my Funhouse.

So what did I do? Installed a No-Pop board.

Was it loud enough on my other previous WPC games to worry about? No.

The WPC NO-POP works with games that use the A-12738 sound board. So it
works with PZ, TZ, and BOP, but NOT IJ.
