Sync iPad

Hello,
How do you sync an Apple iPad?

Plug it into your computer, download iTunes from here --> http://www.apple.com/itunes/ , then it should automatically detect the iPad once iTunes is fully installed and there should be a "sync" or "apply" button near the bottom of the window in the ipad or whatever you named your device's tab.
