Can anyone recommend a high end TN model that would be good for gaming/movies? I was going to maybe get a Dell U2410, or an HP L2475w, but I heard that the color normally look horrible unless you mess around with a bunch of settings.
Will Windows 7 correct the crappy color problem that the wide gamut monitors have?

Seems someone else has already provided you a link to my Asus VK246H review. The Asus VM246H is the same monitor, but w/o the built-in webcam.
You should also know that all monitors need some tweaking to get the best color quality. Whether you do this manually or using a Colorimeter ($60 - $300+) is up to you.
Not sure about Win7, but programs must be "Color Aware" in order to correct for wide color gamut.
