i was trying to decide which monitor to pick and didn't even know how to compare them

here they are

The 2nd monitor is better. Your budget will determine whether it's worth it or not.

The size and response time is about the only difference.

Next time, try being more specific in your title, people shouldn't guess (it will also give the post more views, and you probably get an answer faster).

I agree, and yes, at the end your budget will determine the quality.

See my review for the Asus VK246H. Perhaps that will assist you with making a decision.

The VW246H is exactly the same monitor but without the webcam.

I think that a monitor without webcam is better, because of two thing: 1) In most cases you can't adjust the camera as you want. 2) The camera usually comes instead of other things.

As stated in my review, I purchased the VK model because with all the rebates and discounts it came out to less than the VW model.

I didn't care for the webcam, but I believe after the rebate for the VK246H it came out to be $20 less than the VW246H. There was no rebate for the VW model at that time. Also, I pay attention to technical detail and the only difference between the VW and VK models is the webcam.
