Why not ASUS A7N8X Deluxe?

Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 9 (8 MB Buffer) HDD's are good WD alternative

Good specs with the hardware!....the only thing I would change if it were mine would be the memory selection and the motherboard. I would go with corsair xms pc3200cas2 and for the motherboard I would go with the Epox8RDA+ as the guy mentioned before....this motherboard is great for overclocking...the regular version (8RDA) is only like 88bucks on newegg if you dont want raid etc..

the nf7-s is brilliant.I have got one for my xp 2400 and the overclocking options are great and i have had no problems with it.It's got serial ata raid too, which the 8RDA+ doesn't have.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]

Never EVER buy CL 2.5 DDR Ram.....

ur better off just buying PC-2100 CL2 than PC-2700 CL 2.5

whta you SHOULD do is get some CL2 PC-3200 DDR Ram....that way u cna overclock without worrying about ur ram becoming unstable....
