My hd box will be gone in a couple of months so at that time I want to get a new tv and an ota antenna but from what I understand, getting the latest LED hdtv 1080p 240hz is a waste.I don't play games and will be watching most movies and tv shows from a flash drive through a wd live media player,(not streaming)the rest is just SD TV programs on Rogers, will i be missing out on PQ without a 1080p tv if I stay below 50"...I can go LCD ccfl,LCD LED or Plasma at 40"-47"...viewing distance is about 10ft in a mostly darker room.....any suggestions?
PS-if I do want to watch a movie on my HD DVD player, will it look like crap on a 720p?

I saw these two at Costco
