When i try to replace a motherboard that a different chipset than the previous one, i keep getting blue screen even when trying to get in safe mode.
This happens even if i try to get in safe mode and only in Windows 2000 and Windows XP. In windows 98 i can get in safe mode with out any problems and remove the previous devices from the device manager, or even get in the normal mode. I would be gratefull if somebody knows how to bypass this problem in widnows 2000 and windows xp. Thanks!

the way to bypass it is to re-install XP
