Need Pretty (Yes you heard me) Powerful cheap laptop

My firend had their eye on the HP Pavillion DV6-1200 artist edition, with these main specs:

This laptop went out of stock some time in the summer and was discontinued a few months ago....so I need to find them a replacement laptop.

This will be mainly a Gaming Laptop/Daily work laptop, so needs Good Memory/Graphics to run many things at once and do gaming.

And a 'Pretty' cover on the laptop. :D

On a more serious note, I was more looking for something like the HP laptop, and wondered if anyone had any helpful suggestions? I realise it being 'pretty' will be hard to find but it is also the least important part, and really doesn't matter.

Good thing. . . I'd wait until second week of January to February to start looking for deals. . MacWorld being the second week of February I can also most assure that is when they will be announcing i7 along with everyone else that hasn't yet.

Here are three computers to look into. They all have a faster cpu and better gpu. I also stayed under $800 for all of these.

Edit:
You could also go with an i7 if you really wanted to step it up, but for gaming i'm not sure how much of an increase it will give you. The laptop is $999.99.
