I am trying to bring back to life a M505 laptop that got wine spilled on it.
It seems that the keyboard took the brunt of it and taking out the keyboard
did not find any damage to the MB by visual inspection. The computer power
button turns on and the fan turns, but stops there. Not even the POST
occurs. Anywhere to find instructions to remove the bottom of the case to
look at the underside of MB? Any other suggestions? TIA

If I where you, I would put the computer on a heater or something and
don't plug it in for a few says. You may have shorted out the BIOS,
though.

Shorted out some part of the motherboard is more likely... Ben Myers
