Bootstrap corrupted in dell inspiron 1564

could you plz help me out in this. My laptop bootstrap is corrupted, is there anyway to resolve?

bootstrap meaning the BIOS? If you already tried to re-flash it using an update disk from Dell, then you need to either replace the BIOS chip or the motherboard.

Are you sure that's what the issue is? What happens when you turn on the computer.
