Take out the battery and clean the copper terminals in the battery compartment with a sharp knife. Put batteries back, plug into the charger if still not working leave for 30 seconds and re-try. Make take up to five attempts before it springs to life.

exacly. if doesn't help, try new batteries, even not re-chargeable
