Hi, I've got an Athalon XP 2000+ running on a SOYO Dragon Ultra Platinum KT333 with 512M of PC2700 DDR RAM.

My problem is, the CPU always says it's running with a FSB speed of 133MHz. Athalon XP's are supposed to run on a 266MHz FSB, right? I feel like I'm running at half-steam here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You are running 266 FSB. They FSB is double pumped, meaning data is read @ twice per clock. So 133x2=266.

If it ain't broke, take it apart & see why not!
