Alienware Area 51

Hi TH I own a Alienware area 51 that has been nothing but trouble this is there fourth and final replacement since they never quite figured out the the problem even with all there diagnostics
the psu is 1000wat and the graphics card is a 6990 radeon hd. the problem is with certain games the computer completely shuts down any idea why this is?

The problem could be one of the folowing :


broken component

faulty software

overheating

something else



make sureyou have the pc in a ventilated area and also make sure its properly grounded , also , make sure tyhe power cable id completely inserted



oh , and dont buy a dell cus ur paying 200$ for nice colours , just sayin

Thing that scares me is 4 computers later thats alot of broken components. overheating has been something on my mind but generally the inside of the case stays around 50celcius from speed fans measurements. the case sits ontop of a desk. but i agree the 200 dollars for those colours bites lol.
