Any programs out there that let you build/edit video files frame by frame? I mean a real heavy duty one - not just those lite ones that come with USB cameras. (emphasis on the EDIT part - the ability to edit existing video files (avi?) frame by frame) I also want to be able to add sound, visual effect, and the usuals with video editing. I have Ulead Video Studio (the version bundled with AIW radeon 8500) - can I do it with that? How bout Adobe Premier?
Things like digital effects - manually inserted. Can't do that eral well unless you get REALLY expensive software. You know - adding muzzla flashes, for example. Really what I want to do is to be able to do touch ups. Anyway, I haven't been able to think of any other way to insert CG stuff into existing video.
Hmm, obviously you have´nt heard of 3D appz and triangulation?
If you´re going to insert effects frame by frame you will most likely end up with a result that looks similar to stop motion, very popular in the early 80´s...
premiere will let you: cut, insert, delete, rearrange, super, any existing clips/files. you cannot create fx (other than titles and basic keying) in premiere. for touch ups, depending on what exactly you want to do, you'd look at an image editing package like photoshop. there are other packages to paint onto existing clips/add fx to them or create entirely new fx sequences, these would be like after effects and commotion pro.
