I am awaiting the arrival of my new setup:

Black Ice EVO radiator w/ 120mm alum fan
Hydrol 320gph pump
Swiftech mcw50 gpu cooler
Swiftech mcw5000 cpu cooler
10' of 1/2" tubing
Danger Den water rez.

Right now I am using a chieftec server case w/ window
My question is for all the people who have set up a water cooling system similar to the one I have compiled is; what is the best way to arrange such a setup in the case so that I do not have to place any of the components outside of the case and run tubes through the back of pci slots?.....I would like to mount the radiator somewhere although would hate losing my two exhaust fans on the back of my case...any good ideas?

I mounted my rad in the bottom front of my case.

I have a pic up here so you can see my setup.

Hey I do like that alot!....one question for ya magi....how did you get the bottom tray off that holds the slide in drive tray off?...arent these rivoted on?...did you have to break these off? I have three harddrives running so this might make me eliminate my floppy drive which is really no big deal since I never use it anyways

Dremel tools al the way baby!

It was no problem to dremel off the rivits 'cause I had the exterior off for painting. I also had cut a hole large enough in the front to not block any airflow. It was a lot of work, but the temps and low noise was worth it.

I see...I hate having to remove the drive tray...I will have to think about this one...one more question for ya...
What is the best setup as far as where to place each device in the watercooling series...
Meaning in the watercooling loop where should each component be?...does it matter as long as the water is circulated? like would you put the cpu cooler in line before the gpu cooler?

Well, this is my first foray into water cooling, but from what I have heard, go with the pump > gpu > cpu > rad.

There are a few posts on this in the overclockers > cooling section.

As for the drive tray, mount some stuff up high! Put some brackets on those drives and mount them in a 5 1/4 bay.

It almost seems like you would want the cooled off water from the radiator going straight to the cpu before the heat is added from the gpu...especially since my radeon gets hot enough to fry a good sized steak  ...what do you think?...where can you get brackets for harddrives that will fit a 5.25 drive bay...this is agood idea tho

Well, from what I have heard Svol say, the water does not stay in the waterblock long enough to really affect the cpu. As for the brackets, you can get them at most computer hardware stores, usualy called drive rails. Or you can get one or two of those hard drive cooler units that fit in a 5 1/4 bay.
