I'm looking at getting a new monitor and was wondering which resolution would be best for me. I will mostly be using it for gaming and watching DVDs. I will also be using it to play my PS3 for a while. I have noticed the 1080 monitors are a bit cheaper. Is there anything wrong with playing PC games at 16:9 instead of 16:10? What about playing my PS3 on a 16:10 monitor, will it try and stretch it or mess up the quality? Looking for a 24", thanks.

1080 is geared toward movies and games while 1200 is geared more toward a computer working environment.

That's about all there is to it.

I think I'm going to go with the 1200.
