Hello, All
I am trying to hook up a Bazooka CS8A5 powered bass tube (built in amp) to a Kenwood KDC MP332. The problem is that the head unit has RCA pre amp plugs and the Tube does not. Should I add plugs to the Tube or cut the ones off the head unit. I would prefer to cut the plugs off to save some $$. I am not even sure what a "pre-amp" is or does. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Without knowing what a pre amp does you may not want to be installing your own audio equipment.

Here is the manual for the Bazooka sub http://www.bazooka.com/pdf/current/CS8A5.pdf, will tell you how and what you need to hook it up.

It looks like it should have wiring adapters to hook up from the stereo to the sub, and then from the sub to the rest of the speakers. According to crutchfield's site "included 18-foot harness connects CS8A5 to factory speakers — crimp or solder connections will be necessary " Check there maybe for more details http://www.crutchfield.com/S-23Mg5JrDOhm/p_204CS8A5/Bazooka-Concert-Series-CS8A5.html
