Dell XP Reinstallation CD

I have a sytemax venture machine that came with XP pro sl key - I need to reinstall the os but I only have dell cd's - where can I find even an iso for this machine? Can I use a Dell reinstall cd??

Yes it should, IF its a Dell XP pro disk. You cannot use a home key on a pro disk or vice versa on XP.

Also, the keys were distribution specific. OEM disks used OEM keys, Retail used retail keys, Upgrade used upgrade keys, and volume licence used VLK.

So, any XP pro disk of the same type and edition will work. Sounds like your looking for an XP pro OEM disk. Dell disks also tended to auto install the key, you might need to change it after install.
