Stumped with laptop lcd screen

Hi all i am at a loss with my dillemma. I have a dell inspiron mini910 and the lcd stopped working so i replaced the lcd and the new lcd has only a white backlight.(by the way it is and led display) so i replaced the connector with a new one and now the screen stays black. no light unless i wiggle the connector then the screen turns on but still all white . please help any advice is greatly appreciated.

I don't understand... what do you mean by "only white backlight"? Are you saying nothing appeared, only white?

screen turns on with a bright white display wich means the led are powering on but there is no signal being sent from the conector wich i already replaced
