Everything looks good except the Sony DRU-500A, have you ever tried to get support through Sony, I've owned three Sony CDRWs the first two, no-problems but the last one is when I made my decision not to buy anything from Sony again, but its your money and you may not have any problems at all. I assume AGP wise you're making a choice between the three cards, they're all good cards.

Details, Details, Its all in the Details, If you need help, Don't leave out the Details.

Thanks 4ryan6, I went for the sony Drive mainly because it double as a dvd/r and Cd/r, the one i have now is about 4 years old and doesnt have buff protection for under/over run. Thanks for the advice i will look around at similar drives of different makes thanks.

Everything looks good! But, like you said, if you want some extra kick to it, get a N-Force 2 motherboard. They are a lot better than KT-400. Look at the THG benchmarks, for N-Force 2 motherboard. I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe motherboard, and I have no problems. Also, if you got the money, go for an Athlon 2700+ with the 333 FSB. They perform better than the 266 FSB Athlons. Just make sure you get DDR 333 RAM.(Corsair) Well, good luck.

Yes.Corsair is the make of the memory. If you are in the uk (i am too) you should check out these sites for much better prices than overclock.co.uk:
<A HREF="http://www.ebuyer.com" target="_new">http://www.ebuyer.com</A>
<A HREF="http://www.komplett.co.uk" target="_new">http://www.komplett.co.uk</A>
I always use these two when i build and between them you can get the best prices on most things.Komplett is better for memory and cpus but ebuyer has a much larger range of stuff.

no matter how hard you try, you can't polish a turd. :]

Looks like a good system. Like other people said you might want to look into the n-force2 motherboards. So far Corsair has been great for me.
