How to change 127 0 0 1 to read localhost

Hello, my wampserver 2.0 used to show localhost in the browser but when i upgraded to 2.2 it changed to 127.0.0.1 in the browser. Though they mean the same, i would want it to show "localhost" in the browser.

open it with notepad.exe

127.0.01 localhost should already be in the hosts file. Even so... it doesn't need to be in there.

What's wrong with 127.0.0.1 ? it is exactly the same as localhost.

I know they are the same but when i put localhost in the browser it brings this "Forbidden. You don't have permission to access / on this server".

But when i put 127.0.0.1 it works perfectly & opens wampserver homepage.

What i want is to be able also use "localhost" in the browser. Any help?
