Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad? Well let me disagree on that one...Especially when it comes to networking...I have a Desktop AMD PC which is the Internet Connection Sharing Host a Celleron Desktop PC and a (Celleron) Laptop all connected through a hub...Network is working fine as well as the ICS...BUT I only get a 100MBps Network Connection on the two dektop machines...The Laptop (which uses a Zonet PCMCIA Network Card - Model ZEN1101 -) still manages a 10MBps Connection to the other machines (which is OK for the Internet) but transfering files to the AMD PC is painfull...I Forced the Card to use the 100MBps Connection (Though the Network Places Properties Menu) but to no avail...The Card still WORKS FINE but the Connection is still a 10MBps one...Any other ideas or workarounds around this???
Thanx In Advance...
We had a guy who always crimped his ethernet cable wrong, and then he couldn't ever get it to work faster than 10 Mbit. Could one of the wires in your cable be broken, or have you tried different cables?
That's all I can think of, our whole office was 10 Mbit until I went around and re-crimped all the ends.
