Hi folk,
I'm running winxp (en) on a pentium 4 machine with 512 MB RAM. Out of a
sudden, my language bar on the taskbar was completely empty. in "text
services and input languages" The language bar is greyed. I managed to
set a key combination in order to switch back and forth beetwen french
german and english. (Shift+Left Alt) is not working any more. When I
run Winword (Office 2003) , the correct language is displayed in the
status bar but Winword does not seem to recognize the language
correctly what was the case before.
Any hint is appreciated.
Thanks Guy

I found out a similar problem today on WinXP Home Edition (EN). It seems to
work in my Word XP, but not in Outlook and IE. My language bar is not grey,
but it becomes empty in the toolbar or stops responding. I cannot switch the
languages in Outlook.
I use US English, Swiss French and Japanese.
Just happened I applied Windows Updates today, but I am on the 95% US
English. So I might not have noticed the problem before. Only today I
needed a French accented letter in IE, I could not get it. So eventually I
opened Word, typed the letter and did the copy/paste into IE.

I also appreciate any clue.
Thanks. Deko
