Sony handycam drivers for windows 7

Hello, from my Sony Handycam DCR-TRV 265E windows 7, i am not able to transfer pictures/video to my laptop which is neither having firewire slot nor compatible driver what to do ? pl suggest

Windows 7 does not require a driver for this Handycam. Depending on your laptop you may be able to add a firewire card in the Pc Card/PCMCIA Card slot.
