Hi all! I bought this PC from a friend of mine, and I'm trying to change some
settings and file names. Specifically, I would like to know if there is
anyway at all I can change the Documents and Settings folder. Not the All
Users one, but the folder with my friends' name on it. The system is telling
me this folder cannot be changed, but sort of reinstalling XP, isn't there
some "back door" method I can employ? Thanks for any advice you may be able
to provide!

No it can't be renamed. Create another user with the name you want,
then copy the settings from the old user account to the new one. Lastly
delete the old user account. Make after you create the new user account
you login to it at least once, then do the copy. See this link for how
to copy the user account data to the new one.
