Computer warranty offer

Hello,
I will buy a new disk top from HP or Dell but they only give one year warranty for their equipment for free wonder if I can have an extra three year warranty from any other company in montreal which can support for the warranty after the one year warranty from the main vender

I'm not sure about Montreal but in the UK, most companies charge a lot extra for such a Warranty and when you need to invoke it, you find it doesn't cover the one problem you have.

These "extended warranties" are not worth the money they charge for it. Often to obtain service under the standard 1-year warranty is difficult.

Extended warranties are just a way for the seller to make easy cash! Don't go for it!
