MacBook won't turn on...

I just recently replaced a optical drive in a MacBook A1181, but now it won't start. It has been off for about 5 weeks, as a fact. I already tried the 10-second power button thing, starting it up with just power cable, just battery, both, but nothing. I had made sure the cable that connects the keyboard, trackpad, and power button has been connected, but no luck. I even tried checking that every cable inside the macbook has been connected, but still no luck. Thanks in advance.
