Monitor Glare

I have a new 700m and there is a lot of glare and reflections on the monitor
especially if I try to watch a DVD on an airplane.

Is there a way to reduce the glare? Maybe a filter that I would only use
when I'm on travel?

Have you been able to reduce the glare?

Thanks, Allen

While trolling for an anti glare filter for my 19" LCD (needed it as my
office is in my conservatory) I came across the Fellows make, recommended by
most online sellers for anti glare and protection. Yes they do state anti
glare.

Basically it's a piece of lexan which has some special properties that make
it appear purple/mauve in certain light and at certain angles. It attaches
to the monitor using two Velcro patches.

The odd thing is, nowhere on the literature that came with it does it
mention anti-glare when it mentions protection quite a lot.

While it does prevent some glare especially when viewing a light screen,
with dark or black images I can see myself and object behind reflected in
the filter.

In short it's a physical protector for the LCD more than a glare filter.
