Hello i have an asus a7v333 and i am currently using an xp2000 cpu. I have recently just flashed my bios with the most current one and now i am going to buy a new cpu most likely an xp2400 or xp2600 because i need one that has a FSB of 266mhz due to the limitation on my mother board because it is a PCB revision 1.0 .My question is that when i install the new Cpu will the bios automatically recognize the new Cpu or will i have to manually configure it ?

the bios should detect it manually...though I am not sure that the motherboard supports cpu's with a 166mhz fsb... does it use the kt333 chipset? if so It doesnt support them. I love that chipset tho...

In battle Israel uses F-16's and big ass tanks, Palestine uses small children strapped to bombs. Which do you support?
