Toshiba 42" LCD TV screen blacks out with HDMI

Hello,

I am having this new problem with a Toshiba 42" LCD TV. When I connect PS3 with a HDMI cable to the TV, the screen blacks out. When I am using a satellite receiver with a scart, the picture is fine. Is anyone aware of this problem. How to resolve the issue with playing HD on TV. I did not have this problem previously in the past 3 years.

Check the output resolution and color depth of PS3. They should be within ranges of TV resolution and color depth.
