Hello to all! I'm very interested in buying my first laptop and this HP dv7 looks like a really good one in terms of value for money / best bang for your buck. The only letdown from this laptop is really the lack of a dedicated graphics card.

Does anyone know if the video card can be upgraded? While I'm not a heavy gamer, I do play some games and I don't think the Intel HD graphic card is enough. Plus, I would like good/decent graphics when playing.

Please advise on this. Would really appreciate anyone's help.

Can't upgrade the video card. Why not just get one that has a card already instead of updating. A decent video card adds $100 to the price of that laptop. http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/series/category/notebooks/dv7t_series/3/computer_store, click on "customize and buy".
