I'm excited about this, of course, because I live in San Diego. But AMD's follow-up to Athlon-64 Hammer will be "San Diego" core, .90 process, 1 gig of L2 cache. Saw mention on one website to Athlon 4800+, but it was in another language, so it might not be in context. Anyway, AMD's new roadmap is out...looks like "San Diego" in H1 of 2004. If you're curious, here's one site I found with specs on San Diego.
