Hey everyone,

I can either get a base-line refurbished 27 inch imac for $1400 or this computer right here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... . I'll be doing some video editing, school stuff and some games. (Starcraft 2) There is one game on the PC that I like quite a lot but it's not downloadable for macs yet :(  I can still use bootcamp though!

Thanks so much guys! :D

Get the PC from newegg. Performance wise, it eats the Mac for breakfast.

You can buy a 27 inch 3D display for your money you save. BTW, the Cyberpower is out of stock and i7-2600k is not the best in performance per dollar for gaming. I would BYO and get 2500k, save $100 and put it into a 6950.

Don't buy a mac on the premise it has a pretty screen. That Cyberpower would hands down DESTROY that imac in every single way shape and form and still leave you with enough cash left over to buy a nicer screen than what the mac has anyways

The only thing that eats for breakfast are human beings not machines!

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'm sure u guys will hate me for this but I've decided to go with the mac. I have a macbook air and I love it and checkin out the iMac at the Apple store just made the difference for me. Thanks you everyone for your help but for now, I just believe that OS X is the better Os. I'll install bootcamp too so I can play some games.

Thanks!
