Hi,
I am considering changing my OS to Linux. My only concern is will i still be able to join my friends (running windows2000, XP) for lan parties? If so, some advice on the setup would be appreciated.

It's really a question of whether the games will run on Linux. Thats got nothing to do with Lan parties.

Thanks for the reply. I have checked some of the games that we lan often, and they all seem to be available for linux.

should be do-able then. Linux pretty much does all networking stuff that windows does, and more.
