My netbook acer aspire one has gone down. I cannot boot it. I get a black scree

My netbook acer aspire one has gone down. I cannot boot it. I get a black screen and a message that tells me to insert a boot disk and I have no CD drive. I have tryed pushin f2 an f12 like the website said to try but the same screen comes up. How can i fix it wit out sending it in or will i just have to pay an send it in?

It sounds an awful lot like your HDD has died, and if that's the case, you can either replace the drive yourself and work out some way to reinstall the OS, or send it in to have an imaged drive installed for you.
