Blue screening on installation

everytime I try to install windows 7 on my omputer, i get the bsod "STOP: 0x00000024" and the statement below it reads *** Ntfs.sys, I tried installing windows 7 on two different hard drives with the same problem and i've been going at it for an entire day now. any ideas?

Are you trying an upgrade from different OS or a fresh installation.

i've read that post and my problem is different. i'm doing a fresh install and i cannot finish installing the operating system before i bsod so there is no chance for me to get into command prompt

Take a look at changing your drive type in your bios. Choices are usually IDE, SATA, AHCI something with Intel Rapid Restore Tech and a couple of others. Everytime I selected AHCI w/ IRRT it would install, anything else would generate a bsod...

Try the different options if you havent....
