I have a Dell latitude D 800 and I think I fixed the cursor moving from the botom left of the screen to the top right of the screen
I updated my chip set to A13 and in My BIOS I changed the setting to a serial mouse and added a wireless mouse . Seams to have fixed the problem. Just worked on the computer for about 1 hour and no cursor movment

OK, so what is the issue here? Mouse stopped working? Touchpad stopped working? Both? Does it work when you reboot? You pretty much said whatever the issue was you fixed it, then end with a "no cursor movement" with no actual question.

Reset the BIOS to defaults see if that fixes it.
