I've heard about crusoes in the notebook market and server market, but does anyone know anything about them in the desktop market? I heard about one that is about the size of a small encyclopedia, with 500Mhz 10Gb Hdd and 128Mb SDRAM that costs about P13,000 or about USD $260 without a monitor and keyboard and mouse. Is this good? I only intend to use it for word processing and internet browsing.

Does anything think this is a good price? I like the small footprint(and no noise and no heat)that someone described but I'm not sure whether I should believe him at this time.....

What's your main priority, size? Noise? Power? Have you considered an old Celeron mini system?
